Subject : PHYSICAL DIRECTORS IN A.P. COLLEGIATE EDUCATION SERVICE (GENERAL RECRUITMENT) . NOTIFICATION NO. 22/2012.
The APPSC Recruitment for the year of 2012-2013, the Applications are invited On-line through the from 25/01/2013 to 23/02/2013 (Note: 21/02/2013 is the last date for payment of fee) for recruitment to the post of Physical Directors in A.P. Collegiate Education Service. The Hall Tickets, Answer Keys, Results will be published in this Educational Zone.
Total vacancies : 12 Posts , Posts code is 1 :Physical Directors in A.P. Collegiate Education Service.
Age Limit : The Age for the candidates was set as Minimum of 18 years & Maximum of 34 years as on 01/07/2012. The Relaxation will be continued for the castes stated before by the board .
Educational Qualifications :
i) Good academic record with a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with 55% and above marks or an equivalent Grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F obtained from the Universities recognized in India.
ii) Should have passed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC or SLET.
1. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided, from (55% to 50% of marks) at the Master’s Level for the SC/ST category.
2. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided, (from 55% to 50% of marks) to the Ph.D., Degree holder who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991.
3. “NET/SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Physical Directors in Government Degree Colleges”.
Provided, however that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirements of the minimum eligibility condition of
NET / SLET for recruitment and appointment of Physical Directors in Government Degree Colleges. (As per G.O. Ms. No. 47 Higher Education (CE.I-1) Department., Dt. 14/05/2007 read with G.O. Ms. No. 128, Higher Education(CE-I-1) Dept., Dt. 24/08/2010).
Syllabus :
The Examination consists of two papers, one paper consists of General Studies , and other second paper consists of Concerned Subject (Physical Education)
