The Andhra Pradesh State has finally notified the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test ) to be conducted in the year of 2018, the schedule has announced by the minister G.Srinivas Rao. The APTET 2018 Eligibility, The candidates at the time of applying for AP-TET should be in possession of the
following minimum qualifications prescribed for category of I to V classes (Paper- I) and VI to

Eligibility :
PAPER- I : Teachers eligible to teach Class 1 to 5 need to possess Intermediate certificate along with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
PAPER - II : Teacher eligible to teach Class 6 to 8, need to possess a Graduation Degree (any discipline) from a Recognized University with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) certificate.
APTET Model Paper Structure of Marks:
Paper- I : No. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – 150
Duration of Examination: 2 hours and 30 minutes:

Applicants have to complete the online application process by paying an application fee online from 18th December to 30th December 2017.

Paper II: No. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)– 150:
Duration of Examination: 2 hours and 30 minutes
- i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
- ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
- iii) Language II (English) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
For Mathematics & Science Teachers:
- Mathematics and Science 60 MCQs 60 Marks.
- For Social Studies Teacher 60 MCQs 60 Marks
- For any other Teacher – Either (iv)(a) or (iv)(b)
TOTAL 150 MCQs 150 Marks
Note: (1) The test items on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on Educational
Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the Elementary level.
APTET 2018 Qualifing Marks in TET, Issue of Memos/ Certificates and their Validitiy :
The qualifying marks for different categories are as shown below:

The online application website will open on 18th December 2017 and candidates will be able to apply online till 1st January 2018.APTET 2018 Application Fee
