Educational Qualification : The Eligible Candidates must possess a Foreign going Master’s
Certificate granted by the Government of India and must have served as Chief Officer (OR) must possess a Home Trade Master’s Certificate granted by the Government of India and must have served as Chief Officer of Home Trade ship.

Age Limit : The Age is to be stated the a Minimum of 18 years & Maximum of 40 years as on 01/07/2011. (For SC(W) Maximum Age is 50 years as on 01/07/2011) . The Relaxation considers according to the government Orders .
